U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) awards funding for Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG) to municipalities
What is the ESG?
The Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG) program is a federally funded housing source from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). ESG funds are awarded to municipalities such as the City of Colorado Springs and the Colorado Division of Housing. The Pikes Peak Continuum of Care is an eligible recipient and has applied for funds to support programs such as Homeless Prevention, Rapid Re-Housing, the Homeless Management System, and Street Outreach.
